Progress Tuesday 26th September 2017

Hi all

Today our Duffield service train was handled by our Royal two car set class 108 E53599 and class 119 W51073. For new readers it so named due to transporting Prince Charles to Duffield one day. Most of our railcars have history and E53599 was the first Class 108 built at Derby carriage works and W51073 Is the only operational 119 of only three preserved
The DMU group were battling to solve a problem with Met Camm E50253 which is having fuel problems
The PWay team were at Wirksworth today finishing off road 1 after its relay
Our two Barclay steam engines were being winterised after their summer stints. Cathryn's steam distribution manifolds are being refurbished with a lot of heat and grunting !!
History was made yesterday and today with the start of the new station building with the digging out for the base

All for now

Mike
