The first day of our diesel week, where all our service trains will be hauled by a diesel loco, kept everyone busy.
We hosted some guests from the Abbey Flyers Group who run a similar railway and wish to install a loop similar to Shottle to increase the number of trains per day
The DST continued to paint Catherine's frames and decided to change the water in No 3's boiler and tanks
The DMU group identified 51505's electrical fault which had been causing problems. Ingress of water into a junction box had caused corrosion to terminals.
Rodney completed some pruning to the brambles at Duffiel which have been getting too close to rolling stock body sides
