A very pleasant sunny day in which the passenger service pottered up and down and the buffet, having recovered from a circuit breaker moment, dealt with various father's day lunches.
At Duffield, the Station Foreman attended to much tidying up and weeding work and engaged in some formation dancing, sorry, formation parking.
Back at base, the CK received interior attention and down the yard the class 108 had its valves and other operating parts attended to by our dedicated team of fitters. The class 119 had its parcels compartment floor painted a charming shade of grey. Nearby, the class 31's
transformation into an equally charming shade of green also continued.
