Progress Tuesday 7th August 2017

Dear all

We have hosted today two MyTest Track customers, one on the incline testing Ironmen ( rail carriers ) and another with a trolley testing flaws in rails. Thanks to COSS Eric Boultbee who always seems to pick a rainy day for these duties !! He has now gone home to dry out
The rain did not stop passengers on the tea train and good numbers were recorded
The PWay again worked in the continual rain tamping bad joints in the Duffield area
Barclay No 3 received a washout. Work continued on Cathryn forcing the smokebox to fit by altering the sacrificial plates. Many of the tapered pins on Cathryn are non standard so there has been much reaming of the holes and beautifully turned tapered pins made by Stewart.

All for now
