Progress Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd August 2017

Hi all

East Midlands Trains held a two day shunter's course at Wirksworth utilising the conference room for the classroom on the first day and a diesel shunter plus a raft of DMU's on the second practising hand signals and working points
Our Bombardier apprentices being on works holiday have been refurbishing parts for the Derby Lightweight and doors for for the PWay Bubble.
The EVRA TSO being sandblasted on all sides and roof went immediately into the Maintenance Facility for a coat of paint
The Pway team have been fishplate greasing with a new machine which does not need the removal of the fishplates and speeds up the amount completed. Unfortunately LJ Breeze our Rolls Royce shunter failed today and was rescued by the class 33

All for now
