John Snell and I journeyed to York to meet up with Network Rail yesterday to commence the resolution of the transfer the freehold of our Railway to the Company and explore the opportunity to acquire the remaining NR land at Wirksworth.
This was followed by Beverley and I to attend a concert given by Ronnie Spector in Birmingham's Town Hall.You have to be of a certain vintage to appreciate this! Suffice to say the Ronettes played at the Derby Gaumont in 1964.
