Progress Saturday and Sunday 26th/27th September 2015

Hi all
Multiple Memories has now become our biggest weekend financial earner. This year we also hosted The Railcar Association Annual General Meeting which brings all the DMU owners and groups from around Great Britain.
It has been the first time we have done two train running crossing at Shottle with fare paying passengers. The EVR now has the largest collection of Heritage Railcars in the Preservation Movement and all the nine Units in working order were running in different formations which is what Galas are all about
The Event gave us the opportunity to trial serving breakfasts from the BSK  which has been a success
All the retail outlets and Pullman Buffet all recorded good takings.
My thanks go the Pway staff who acted as Signalmen at Shottle North and South after three days of intensive running
For the DMU group this event is the final result of many months of hard work which as resulted in Met Camm 50253 entering traffic in Green and Class 108 repainted in blue/grey to match the119.
Thanks to everyone who helped to make the weekend so successful
All for now
Mike Evans
