In a day where the volunteer count nearly matched the midday temperature, moderate progress was still made.
This morning, the team concentrated on doing a few more jobs on the 119 restoration project. Every little bit of progress helps! Down at the station, our stationmaster kept one eye on the booking hall and the other on todays single conscript who has made a pretty decent job of undercoating the 'new' model railway container.
This afternoon saw a private birthday charter train to Idridgehay followed by a very late lunch in the buffet car laid on by external caterers. I think they had a good time even though it was very cold!
